Hartley Library – an unrivalled resource

Our libraries are consistently rated as outstanding by students in the National Student Survey (NSS).

We have libraries across five sites, ensuring that all students have access to an exceptionally diverse range of publications. You automatically become a member of the libraries as soon as you enrol. Our main library, Hartley Library, located on Highfield Campus, is one of the leading research libraries in the UK.

You can access many resources off campus through networked links to your home, halls of residence and other parts of the University.

All libraries offer study space and provision for wireless computer access. There is also a popular café and lounge area for relaxed study and discussion in Hartley Library.

Our Assistive Technology resources in the Hartley Library include: Apple Mac workstation, several workstations with dual screens, one with a large 28" screen, black-and-white and colour printing, and scanning and printing facilities for large size (A3) format.
