WSA – leading in art and design

Winchester School of Art is one of the UK’s leading art and design institutions with a history going back almost 150 years.

We offer some of the most flexible and dynamic art and design degrees in the UK today, with a focus on the quality of creative ideas and their relevance in the world today. Employability is central to all of our programmes.

WSA is an international centre for ideas, meeting the challenges of the creative future using a global outlook and supported by state-of-the-art facilities and internationally respected staff.

Based in picturesque Winchester, our purpose-built campus is close to open countryside, a nature reserve and recreation grounds. WSA has its own Students' Union facilities, a cafe and arts supplies shop.

Our annual undergraduate and postgraduate degree shows see the whole campus transformed into one large exhibition celebrating the excellence and diversity of our students' work.
